St. David’s and Waverley Buildings | Huddersfield Grammar School

This two-phased development incorporates a replacement Pre-School facility within the new St.David’s Building which also includes a Food Technology classroom and Art workshop for senior school use. The building utilises local stone combined with western red cedar cladding, glazed curtain walling and natural slate roof to provide a distinctive vernacular design.

Phase 2 comprises the encapsulation of a 25 year old duplex modular classroom and dining facility, clad in western red cedar to reflect its natural tree-belt setting, complete with insulated profiled steel roof, all supported off a new external steel framework.
